HISTORY OF POWERBI:

PowerBI was originally designed by the author Ron George in the year  2010 and this project was named Project Crescent.Project Crescent was  available for public  download from  July 11, 2011 tied up with SQL Server Codename as Denali.

After This It was renamed as PowerBI by Microsoft in the month of September 2013 this PowerBI was Used for Office 365 Microsoft released PowerBI  was based upon Microsoft-Excel For this Microsoft has added many additional features like  enterprise level data connectivity and security options via Power BI Gateways.The First Version of  PowerBI was Released by microsoft in the month of July 24 2015.  

What Is POWERBI ?

PowerBI is a Data Visualization and Business Intelligence Tool that converts data from Various types of  data sources to interactive dashboards.

PowerBI Provides Multiple Software Services PowerBI Desktop, PowerBI Services based on saas,Mobile PowerBI apps for different Platforms.These Services are Used by Business people which helps them to build BI Reports
